Regarding his synthesis method, more methods reported in the literature is using 5-bromo salicylaldehyde as raw material and ethyl bromoacetate to prepare ethyl 5-bromobenzofuran-2-carboxylate, and then present in sodium methoxide and formamide reaction to obtain 5-bromobenzofuran-2-carboxamide, and finally reacted with piperazine under the catalysis of transition metal catalyst Pd(OAc)2/P(t-Bu)3 to obtain 5-(1-Piperazinyl)benzofuran-2-carboxamide CAS Number 183288-46-2. The biggest disadvantage of this method is that the catalyst used in the reaction process is expensive and difficult to purchase, and has high risk and is not suitable for industrial production.
