Basic Info
Model No.: 1552-42-7
Product Description
Crystal violet lactone CAS number is 1552-42-7, referred to as CVL, is a kind of triarylmethane thermal sensitizing dye, which is widely used for its excellent color development speed, small sublimation and good oil solubility and Carbonless copy paper, thermal pressure sensitive recording paper, commercial invoice, laser recorder, color change indication, etc., is currently the world's largest production of thermosensitive dyes. His synthesis method consists of three stages: (1) Schiff base stage: reaction of p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde with urea to form Schiff base; (2) Urea intermediate stage: product of the previous stage and dimethylaniline reaction Obtaining a urea intermediate; (3) colorless crystal violet lactone stage: reacting the urea intermediate formed in the previous stage with m-dimethylaminobenzoic acid to form a colorless crystal violet lactone; (4) oxidation reaction stage: none The crystal crystal violet lactone is catalyzed and oxidized by hydrogen peroxide to form crystal violet lactone CAS number 1552-42-7.
